Robs Stupid Jukebox does everything you need for listening to and managing your music collection except ripping the files. I chose not to do this because there are so many fine ripping tools out there already. Robs Stupid Jukebox does all of the following and then some:
Plays Mp3 and Ogg Files. Converts Mp3 to Ogg or WAV. Converts WAVs to Oggs. Converts Oggs to WAV.
Sorted display of artists, albums and songs. Song Queuing much like a jukebox. Jukebox mode enhanced by several random modes.
Automatically displays album cover of album when playing. Support for .BMP, .JPG and .DIB for album covers. Single button album cover download. Single button online album info viewing. Time variable album cover animation.
0 CPU time 12 band equalizer with adjustable bandwiths. EQ sliders have variable frequency range. EQ has nearly 100dB cut range and nearly 80dB boost range for each frequency. You can save EQ settings (including volume) for each album and they automatically reload when playing song from that album.
You can search by artist, album, song, etc. Improved 10 mode search engine searches nearly 1 million items per second. Search using expressions like x AND y, x OR y, or x AND NOT y. Search all items or just enabled items.
Clicking on a search result selects the album/artist/song in the player window. Double clicking on a search result adds song to queue to play.
